Monthly Webinars

The CASSIG hosts webinars monthly. Our guest speakers cover various topics, from physical therapy specialties to professional development. Webinars are open to all at no charge. We’d love you to log in and interact with our speakers in real-time. However, many of our webinars are also recorded and available for later viewing, linked right here on our website.

The CA Outreach Challenge

The CA Outreach Challenge is managed under the direction of the CASSIG and sponsored by the CPTA. It is a state-wide competition that challenges SPT/SPTAs to accrue volunteer hours in their local communities over approximately 8 months. Students and/or programs with the highest number of logged volunteer hours will be recognized at the CSM conference each year.

The CPTA Annual Conference

This year, the CPTA Annual Conference will be in Palm Springs September 20-21. CASSIG plans to host a morning exercise session, stay tuned! More information will come when the event gets closer. Register as a student volunteer, which allows students to be able to attend the conference at a discounted rate when they choose to volunteer! CASSIG will also have a booth in the exhibit hall at the conference, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

Additional Resources

The CASSIG continuously works to gather resources that are of value to current PT and PTA students. We love to highlight our Early Professionals Guidebook though! The guidebook was created by a group of passionate physical therapy students and early professional physical therapists who want to see others succeed! It is tailored to students approaching graduation and to early professionals venturing out into their professional careers.
