PT/PTA STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Our 2025 Scholarship is Open Unil July 31st! APPLY HERE!
This year, the California Student Special Interest Group (CASSIG) is thrilled to offer one physical therapy/physical therapist assistant (PT/PTA) student an incredible opportunity to attend the CPTA Conference in Palm Springs—with all travel, lodging, and conference registration expenses covered up to $500! In addition to financial assistance, we aim to pair recipients with mentors from among the CPTA Leadership. This mentorship will offer guidance, insight, and inspiration as you transition into the workforce. The mentor can help the student gain valuable knowledge and meet other professionals working in areas that the student is interested in. All California students are welcome to apply, with the exception of those currently serving on CASSIG leadership in 2025.

Thank you for your interest in the PT/PTA Student Scholarship Program! Established in 2024, the goal of this scholarship was to give current SPT and SPTA's a creative outlet that could not only earn them scholarship support, but also act as a way to help inform those interested in coming into our profession of Physical Therapy! CASSIG believes in empowering the students to become invested in directing the future of Physical Therapy. We are currently looking for those who are interested in helping CASSIG support students directly!
All donations will go towards the following:

Mount Saint Mary’s University, DPT Class of 2026
Hello! I am a 2nd year DPT student at MSMU. I got into PT because I found it fulfilling to be a part of a person’s journey through recovery. Eventually, I want to help the marching band community (I used to play drums and cymbals!) as I believe there is a need for PT. So far, I am interested in orthopedics and inpatient acute care, but I’m keeping an open mind! Besides being a student, I enjoy visiting different areas and trying new foods, spending time with my nieces and nephew, and running!
