Special committees support the executive officers in carrying out the subfunctions and underpinnings of the CASSIG. Special committee positions are volunteer-based roles. Students interested in a special committee position must submit an application. The term for these positions is 1 year. Absolute prerequisites for running for the special committee positions include being a PT or PTA student and an active member of the CPTA.

The CASSIG executive committee is comprised of a president, a vice president, a secretary, and a treasurer. These officer positions are volunteer-based roles. Students interested in an executive committee position must submit an application. The term for these officer positions is from January to December. Absolute prerequisites for running for an executive committee position include being a PT or PTA student and an active member of the CPTA.
